1. Why Are Some Facebook Users So Against Timeline?

    Facebook users have a tendency to get upset when one little thing gets changed around, but the backlash some users have against Timeline seems to be more serious. Since Timeline was once a choice, Facebook users that didn’t like it didn’t have to deal with it, but now Facebook is planning on making it a mandatory change.Another one of the biggest issues with Timeline is that once it has been changed, Facebook users can never go back to their old profile. They are stuck with Timeline forever and that is hard for some of Facebook’s more stubborn users to accept.


    Many users feel that they are being forced into the change and some are even threatening to leave Facebook if their profile is switched to Timeline. It may seem a little extreme, but who knows if users will actually follow trough with these threats, or just deal with Timeline like everybody else.

    I made the switch to Timeline a few months ago, and personally I like it much better than the old Facebook profile. I was not the biggest fan at first either, but once I started playing around with it and using the new features I found that it is actually much easier to use and has a much cleaner look. One of the best things about Facebook is that it is always changing and being updated. Something else is probably going to come around within a year or so and everyone will be in an uproar again. But, like always, Facebook users will complain about it for awhile and then get used to it because lets be honest, its really hard to walk away from Facebook.
