1. Twitter Ads for Small Businesses

    Last week, Twitter announced that it will make advertising available to American small business owners and merchants who are American Express Cardholders. By partnering with American Express, Twitter invites Cardholders to participate first in the new advertising that will appear in late March. 

    Before this change Twitter advertising was reserved solely for exclusive large advertisers. With this new self-serve advertising service, smaller companies will now be able to choose how much they want to spend, where they want their advertisement to be seen, and write their own sponsored Tweet. 

    American express will give the first 10,000 eligible businesses $100 dollars in free advertising. The self-service advertising service will be available more widely later in the year.
