    Cars.com ran an ad during the super bowl that was more utilitarian than it was annoying. Most may remember this ad as being the one with the singing “confidence” creature coming from the back of a man in a car dealership.  Due to editing reasons, many missed the good cause behind this commercial. 
    In the beginning of the ad, viewers are prompted to tag the ad via Shazam which would credit them $1 to donate to one of seven charities benefiting children and young adults. They are then directed to the Cars.com Facebook fan page where they get to choose the charity they want to donate to. 
    Cars.com is running this promotion with the goal of reaching $100,000 in donations.
