I Like You A Little, A LOT.

Every day in my Writing for Marketing class, my professor Jon Boroshok mentions the importance of WIIFY (What’s In It For You) when targeting an audience. So I would like to thank Like a Little for creating a section for Emerson College students to tell each other awesome things like, “Hey, I think you’re cute. Let’s hang.” I am definitely interested in that audience.
I am a constant follower of Craigslist’s missed connections. My roommate and I have often joked about spending a day riding the T and making intense eye contact with attractive strangers in hopes of getting a missed connection. By joked, I mean we were 85% kidding, 15% totally serious.
When we spot a stranger who is staring at us, we will comment, “That totally was a missed connection,” and then proceed to read the missed connections for the rest of the night.
The other day, I was in class and heard some students talking about Like a Little. I was immediately intrigued at the idea of a missed connections for a specific college. This would make searching the pages for possible posts about me that much easier!
The posts are fun and cute, and possibly about me. What’s not to love? What do you think about Like a Little’s site? Would you read the posts?
